My name is Verne Chaney and this is my 9th year at Stewart Middle School as a Math Resource Teacher, grades 7 and 8.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA and a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA.
I was born in St. Thomas, USVI, raised in Baton Rouge, LA, and I now reside in Lithia Springs, GA with my husband of 25 years.
I am looking forward to having an exciting and productive year.
