I Will Be Your 7th Grade Math Teacher 

I am a native of East Point, Georgia. I received my undergraduate degree from South Carolina State University in 2015. I returned home in search of a job that would fulfill my passion, but was unsuccessful. That fact drove me to pursue a position in education, something that I always had a desire to become. A role model, teacher, uncle, whatever a student needs me to be at that time. 

In my spare time I like to read books, listen to music, and go to sporting events.I love sports but football is my main love.  I was in the band in high school and college. 

I am a strong believer in the saying "It takes a village to raise a child" , coming from a position of a single parents household, family means everything to me. I really do believe that without  those teacher's and other influential people that I meet along the way I wouldn't  be who I am today. In order to have a great year it is going to take all of us meaning Parents -Students - Teachers collectively working together to ensure the progress we will make this year.
