Mrs. Monet' Wagstaff-Burns
Middle School Math Teacher
I am a native of Buffalo, NY which of course makes me a Buffalo Bills fan! I relocated to Georgia in 2002 and taught for 5 years at Paul D West Middle School in Fulton County.
In 2007, I became a part of the Douglas County School System working at Yeager Middle for 9 years, and now I am a Stewart Middle School Eagle. Through lots of hard work,
I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year at YMS for 2012-2013 year,
and at SMS for the 2019-2020 school year.
Some things that I enjoy doing are teaching math, gardening, building things, cooking,
and spending time with my family. Tigers are my favorite animal so if you know any students that I have taught they will remember all of the tigers in my classroom.
